The company is expected to launch its entire range of motorcycles in the Indian market. Its latest offering, Ducati Scrambler is expected to be priced in between IRs 700,000 to IRs one million. This model is a lifestyle bike, which has been re-launched by the company keeping in mind the legacy of the old model.
The first model of Ducati Scrambler was introduced in 1962 and it soon turned out to be a series of single-cylinder scrambler motorcycles, with a number of engine displacements. Improved frames, wide engine case and some other modifications were introduced from 1968. These motorbikes were produced as long as 1974 and this bike forms the basis of the latest Scrambler Ducati.
The New Scrambler Ducati has four different models based on one platform. The models have been christened as Full Throttle, Urban Enduro, Classic and Icon. These have been assembled on tubular steel trellis frame with around Kayaba suspension-setup, which has 41 mm inverted forks.
The Scrambler Ducati runs on different types of 18-inches front and 17-inches rear wheels. The front wheel has been equipped with a 330 mm disc and 4-piston radial calliper, while the rear wheel gets a single piston-floating calliper.
