The bike is expected to to stand its own preceding model rivals its ground against mighty in its segment.

If you are planning to buy a new bike then Honda is coming up with its latest offering — CB Trigger 150 cc. According to a source at Syakar Trading Company, authorised distributor of Honda two-wheelers in Nepal, the bike will be launched in domestic market by August.“We are very optimistic about the bike, as it's stylish yet has really impressive performance,” the source said. However, he said the price of the bike has not been fixed.
According to him, they expect the new CB Trigger to outperform their own Dazzler 150 cc, in order to stand its ground against mighty rivals such as Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i, Yamaha's FZ-S and TVS Apache RTR 160.
The new CB Trigger gets a four-stroke, 149.1cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. For accelerating, one gear is shifted down while four are shifted up. A maximum power of 14 bhp is generated by this motorcycle, with an engine speed of 8,500 rpm while peak torque is 12.5 Nm. A fuel economy of 50 kmpl can be expected from this motorbike, which in itself will be a great figure for a two-wheeler in this category.
Interesting features in the 150 cc CB Trigger include attractive LED taillights, alloy wheels, disc brake, and rear mono-shock suspension. In addition, a digital instrument console will be present, along with a revolutionary combi-brake system. Bikini faring has been given to the headlights of the bike and is equipped with a sculpted tank for fuel.
The digital display metre of the bike has an amber coloured backlight system and included cascading tachometer, odometer and speedometer. The LCD display of the bike not only shows the fuel level but even holds a digital watch. The new digital metre looks fresh and upmarket and combined with the LED tails lights gives the Honda a more up-to-date features list. In terms of styling, the bike resembles Dazzler, but there are distinctive changes that give it a more polished look. Several attractive colours are on offer for this bike that includes meteor green metallic, pearl siena red and black. A stylish black exhaust pipe, along with sporty alloy wheels, enhances the aesthetic appeal of this bike.
The CB Trigger is a muscular, modern looking motorcycle, with six-spoke alloy wheels. Much of the bike, including its engine and frame, are all finished in black. The new CB Trigger takes some styling cues from the full size CB1000R, and is a naked 150 cc street bike. The new Honda provides a fully enclosed drive chain for optimal protection from harsh riding conditions. There is also a maintenance free battery. The CB Trigger taillight is a smart looking, stepped unit.
As the bike has a single down-tube, the kerb weight of CB Trigger is comparatively lower at 137 kg that makes it great fun to ride. Suspension is telescopic forks in front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike comes with tubeless tyres, front (80/100 x 17 inch) and rear (110/80 x 17 inch). The CB Trigger riding position is upright and comfortable, with wide and tall set handlebars. Disc brakes are provided front (240 mm) and rear (200 mm), with a combined braking system offered as optional.
