Hero MotoCorp Ltd launched upgraded versions of two of its two-wheelers — Glamour motorcycle and Duet scooter in the Nepali market on May 6.
The new upgraded 125 cc Glamour is powered by an air-cooled single cylindrical, OHC engine that produces maximum torque output of 11.1 bhp at 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 11 Nm at 6500 RPM. It is featured with a new engine that has a revolutionary i3S idle stop-start system technology. Similarly, the new 110 cc Duet scooter is powered with an all-new BSIV complaint air-cooled, four stroke single cylindrical OHC engine. It produces a maximum power output of 8 bhp at 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm at 5500 RPM.
The new Duet is featured with a Digi-analog combo meter console, new body graphics and muffler cover. To enhance the convenience, duet comes with a external fuel filling, under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat and fuel-lid opening, service due indicator, side stand indicator, twin parking lamps and a boot-light in the glove box among others.
Speaking about the upgraded two-wheelers, Avik Jyoti, the Chairman of Nepal General Marketing, authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp in Nepal said, “With host of safety and comfort features along with unmatched performance and efficiency, I hope these two new products will do well in the Nepali market.”
